The team takes on the case of a reckless police detective who has a family history of sudden heart failure that killed his father, grandfather and great-grandfather all at age 40. Though House is not keen on diagnosing the patient without any detectable symptoms, the team, urged by Cameron, attempts to identify his condition so the detective can live without fear of dying young. Episode Synopsis: HOUSE “Broken” Season 6 Premiere – House begins a detox program at Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital to get the vicodin out of his system in an attempt to control his hallucinations. House plans to leave the treatment facility once he is clean, but he is strong-armed into staying by his attending physician, Dr. Darryl Nolan (guest star Andre Braugher). Dr. Nolan agrees to write a recommendation to reinstate House’s medical license only if House agrees to further treatment.

When House is moved to a new ward in the hospital, he develops a close relationship with his new roommate, Alvie (guest star Lin-Manuel Miranda), and Lydia (guest star Franka Potente), a frequent visitor who helps House bend the rules. House asks Alvie to help him uncover incriminating information about Dr. Nolan that would allow him to blackmail his way out of the treatment center and convinces Lydia to loan him her car to sneak out a delusional patient in an attempt by House to undermine Dr. Nolan’s course of treatment. But when devastating events ensue, House is humbled into reluctantly accepting help in “Broken,” the special two-hour season premiere episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Sept. 21 (8:00-10:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Aired on FOX this week is a promo of “House M.D.” which partly recaps last season and teases on what happens next in the sixth season. The footage begins with scenes about the incredible medical mysteries as well as House’s romantic moment with Cuddy. Then it moves on to where the series will pick up after House experienced hallucinations on the season finale.

Without giving much, FOX says “The only we can tell you is: you won’t want to miss it.” House chimes in, “Shocking. Discuss.” In case fans miss the fifth season, FOX is re-running it this summer every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c.

EW’s Michael Ausiello previously let go some casting scoops for the new season. “Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda has been cast as House’s psych hospital roomie, sources confirm to me exclusively,” so the columnist wrote, adding that Miranda will appear in at least 2 episodes. The new blood is added to correlate with House’s new residence, the mental institution.

FOX has released the premiere dates of its Fall schedule, giving the benefit of two-hour season premieres to “House“. On Monday, September 21, the show starring Hugh Laurie will air for two hours starting at 8/7c and resume to its regular one-hour slot on Mondays the next week.

“You will definitely be talking about this ending,” FOX said on its promo for “House M.D.” season finale. On May 11, House and the team are intrigued by Scott (guest star Ashton Holmes), a man whose left brain and right brain operate independently, leaving him with two distinct personalities and no control over some of his actions.

As the two sides of Scott’s brain struggle for dominance, his warring personalities make it increasingly difficult for the team to figure out what is causing the unique problem. The team is forced to use some unusual methods to get him to cooperate with their necessary testing.

Meanwhile, when House refuses to make an appearance in the clinic, Cuddy takes an unconventional approach to force House to make up the time with a very particular patient (guest star Carl Reiner).

After the talked-about sex scene between House and Cuddy, there will still be more into their complicated relationship. Lisa Edelstein who plays Cuddy gave a nod in a press conference over the weekend on the question whether the relationship will change in the finale.

House will still be suffering from insomnia, and this time, he is going to look up on the case of a ballerina. That girl will have some skin problems, maybe related to her collapsed lungs.

Watch House Under My Skin soon, as this episode promises to be another great one, especially to loyal House fans.

Cameron postpones her vacation with Chase in order to ask House to accept the case of an environmental radical who collapsed at a protest with unexplainable symptoms. Although suspicious of her motives, House agrees. Since she pushed him to take the case so emphatically, House forces Cameron to take the lead and run many of the tests on the patient. Meanwhile, House is unsure of Wilson’s new healthy diet.
