With premiere parties gathering across the nation, no one can wait to watch Snooki eat fried pickles and to see who hooks up this year. MTV has been airing re-runs all day long and it’s hard not to get the pre-Jersey Shore jitters.

“I am excited for people to see season two. It is 1,000 times more dramatic and just, overall, 1,000 times better than ‘Jersey Shore’ 1,” an enthusiastic JWoww told MTV News. “More drama, make-ups, breakups, fights, and everyone became really close as a family, so it’s just insane.” The cast is super excited for the premiere, as they take time from filming season 3.

“You’ve seen season one, you know what happens there!” The Situation said. “Season two is so much drama. There’s so much more hookups, make-ups, breakups, the whole nine, and you guys are definitely going to love season two. Sit back and relax! You guys can see how to party!”

Set your DVR’s if your not going to be at home at 10pm tonight, and if your going to be home, get your popcorn and friends in a room with a TV and soak in all the GTL and fist pumping you can get.

Deena Nicole, tomorrow on MTV … It. Is. On. Jersey Shore returns for Season 2.

The entire cast is intact and now filming Season 3, to boot … and then some. Deena Nicole, a self-proclaimed “Bad Ass Brunette,” will play a big role.

Where did the new star come from? Sources say she was already BFFs with Snooki and seems like she’s going to fit in well with the rest of the cast.

Deena, real name is Deena Nicole Cortese, and is good friends with Snooki, who helped get her cast. She was also hangin’ with J-Woww on Saturday.

The 23-year-old is a former cheerleader who was on the squad at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, N.J. She went to New Egypt High School.

Jersey Shore’s new girl looks like … the other Jersey Shore girls.

Maybe Garden State Governor Chris Christie, who recently called out the show, will be satisfied that they added another bona fide Jersey-ite at least.

Well, at least until he sees Deena Nicole’s racy MySpace page, which is filled with profanity-laced proclamations and sexy shots of her drinking, etc.

“I don’t give a f**k,” is interspersed with sexy pics and quotes like “I’m addictive and expensive like cocaine. I should just have my own TV show!”

The foul-mouthed female also recorded a video blog on her MySpace page in 2008, in which she rants about the way she’s been treated by dudes.

Swearing revenge, she says, “we’re gonna play you out, n**ga.”

Yup, sounds like she should fit in fine with Ronnie Magro & Co.

Sources close to production confirm Deena will be appearing in a number of episodes in Season 3, but isn’t considered a “permanent” cast member.

Because of “Meet the Osbournes,” we learned the rock stars may be wild on stage, but at home, they are just like us, except wealthier and wackier.

“Growing Up Twisted” (A&E, 10 tonight) makes the same point with a different family, that of Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider. The show features Snider, his wife of 34 years Suzette, and their four kids.

You could say the Snider family is a cross between “Meet the Osbournes” and “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” (also on A&E). The Sniders are foul-mouthed, like the Osbournes. Suzette is a blonde bombshell like Simmons’ former Playboy model partner Shannon Tweed, although while Tweed clothes are mature sexy, Suzette dresses fairly close in style to the 15-year-old hootchie-clad bad girl she must have been when she hooked up with Dee.

Life is fairly traditional. This is a family that clearly loves each other. The first episode centers around the couple’s anniversary. Dee, we learn, is a softie romantic still crazy for his wife. Suzanne loves him too, but is the boss. She thinks tattoos are white trash and won’t allow the kids to have them. She doesn’t however mind telling them about the fun of dying her pubic hair pink.

Oldest son Jesse is a musician like dad. He and wife Patty have a young daughter. (That’s right Dee and Suzette are grandparents.) Jesse seems level-headed. Cody, on the other hand, comes across as a hot-tempered meat head. Shane wants to be a standup; something’s there, but it needs a lot more work. Daughter Cheyenne is 14, and probably spoiled. She has a meltdown when mom tries to take down the rusty, decade-old trampoline of her childhood. “It means something to me!” she wails. Dad promptly repairs it.

While there are some undeniably sweet moments in “Growing Up Twisted,” it’s not that interesting; Dee is no Ozzy, Suzette no Sharon. We’ve been down this road before and seen it done better.

“If You Really Knew Me,” Tuesday night at 11 on MTV

MTV’S earnest documentary series “If You Really Knew Me” becomes the latest production to insist that high schools don’t have to automatically break down into dozens of suspicious and often hostile cliques.

If everyone just took a few minutes to get to know the jocks, or the freaks, or the Goths, or the brains, they’d find that underneath the surface they have almost everything in common.

It’s a seductive idea, and as we watch this show reach out across all those artificial lines, we’d love to believe this is how it could be.

Sadly, we also know it’s a lie.

Maybe we should just call it John Hughes movie syndrome, where our hearts fill with warmth as dorks and outcasts are accepted and liked by the popular kids.

The most prominent apostle of that fantasy right now is “Glee,” which acknowledges high school’s deep social divide, but also holds out the hope that football players who used to pitch “losers” into the Dumpster can one day stand beside them singing.

Sweet. A lie for 99% of the high school world, but hey, why crush every dream?

“If You Really Knew Me” visits real-life high schools and films “Challenge Day,” when kids from different cliques and subgroups come together and talk about their lives.

“If you really knew me,” they say, you’d know that I’m sometimes insecure, or I thought about suicide, or I had a bad childhood, or I don’t really like some of the things I do to maintain my image.

In other words, I’m a lot more like you than either of us thinks.

Challenge Day starts with a rally, then participants break into groups and start confessing. The seemingly popular girl says she sometimes feels depressed. The gay guy says his parents told him he was going to hell. The quarterback admits there’s racism on the football team.

Tears flow. There is much hugging. The next day, the documentary reports, some fraternization continues, with inter-clique hanging out. Participants in Challenge Day say they feel it worked.

In the short term, for some participants that’s true. But long-term, for most high school students, you have to suspect that not much changes.

In high school’s big picture, there are individual breakthroughs all the time. Kids from different groups or places get thrown together and realize they could be friends if they’d ignore the stuff that doesn’t matter.

That’s nice. It’s also the exception. Cliques in school form for the same reason that all of life’s cliques form, and no amount of rational counterargument is likely to stop it.

It’s admirable that “If You Really Knew Me” suggests high school doesn’t have to be socially painful for millions of students.

The trouble is, though, that it is.

The series finale will be airing later this year, and there are only 12 episodes of the show that have not been released as of yet. The show has grown to become a part of pop culture, and has launched the career of its star, Miley Cyrus. She has gone on to have a successful singing and acting career.
The show was supposed to end several months ago, but it was revealed during the “finale” episode that “Hannah Montana” would be returning for one more run during the summer. Fans have stuck with the show for a long time, and Disney apparently wanted to wrap up all of the storylines before putting the show to bed for good.

Hannah Montana season 4 episode called “Sweet Home Hannah Montana” directed by Bob Koherr and written by Michael Poryes and Steven Peterman will air on July 11 at 8 PM, and then again on July 12 for those that missed it.
“Sweet Home Hannah Montana” will focus on:

The Stewarts move into their new home when Miley & Lilly realize that Robby has moved Miley’s old bedroom furniture, including white bunk beds, pink walls, pink bedding, dolls, a stuffed unicorn and Rainbow Piggy, and they set out to make some changes. Meanwhile Jackson must please his obnoxious neighhbor TJ to get close to TJ’s cousin, Siena who lives next door.

All of the new episodes will be shown on Disney during the same time slot. It is not clear if the rest of the episodes will be shown twice on back-to-back days as the premiere will be, but it is likely that each episode will have at least one encore showing.
Miley Cyrus recently said that she prefers acting over singing, and has made plans to exit the music business following the release of her last album. There have been a total of 85 episodes of her hit show, “Hannah Montana.” With just twelve episodes left, it will be interesting to see how they wrap the show up.

SUE SYLVESTER’S VIDEO HOMAGE TO MADONNA’S “VOGUE” TO DEBUT TONIGHT DURING SPRING PREMIERE OF “GLEE” AIRING AT A SPECIAL TIME 9:28-10:30 PM ET/PT AFTER “AMERICAN IDOL” ON FOX

Video Debuts One Week Prior to “The Power of Madonna” Episode of GLEE Airing Tuesday, April 20

The world premiere of SUE SYLVESTER’s (Jane Lynch) “Vogue” video will air during the highly anticipated spring premiere of GLEE tonight,Tuesday, April 13 (9:28-10:30 PM ET/PT) following AMERICAN IDOL on FOX. The three-minute video premiere, which is sponsored by Chevy, will debut one week before it airs as part of “The Power of Madonna” episode on Tuesday, April 20 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Sure to be a fan favorite, GLEE’s “Vogue” features Sue, KURT (Chris Colfer) and MERCEDES (Amber Riley) in an homage to Madonna with a brilliant shot-by-shot re-creation of the groundbreaking music video.

In the “Hell-o” spring premiere episode, GLEE picks up as New Directions is fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals and feeling on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals – including a memorable rendition of The Beatles’ “Hello, Goodbye.” But when RACHEL (Lea Michele) and FINN’s (Cory Monteith) budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, JESSE ST. JAMES (guest star Jonathan Groff), it threatens to derail the entire club. MR. SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison) pays a visit to SHELBY CORCORAN (guest star Idina Menzel), coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse’s motives. Meanwhile, Will is newly single, but is he ready to take his relationship with EMMA (Jayma Mays) to the next level? And to top it all off, Sue returns from her condo in Boca with a renewed focus on destroying Will and disbanding the glee club.

In the “Power of Madonna” episode, airing Tuesday, April 20 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Mr. Schuester is concerned that the girls in the glee club are being disrespected and bullied by the male members. Looking to Madonna and her musical message of equality as inspiration, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace Madonna’s strength, independence and confidence so that the guys will see the errors of their misogynistic ways. The glee club takes the assignment to heart and performs some of the Material Girl’s greatest hits, including “Express Yourself” and “Like a Prayer.” Meanwhile, Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a vote of confidence with a Madonna makeover that is definitely in “Vogue.”

Television’s most award-winning new series, GLEE was recently honored with a Peabody Award; a Golden Globe for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical; a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; and a People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy. The music from GLEE is an international sensation with “Glee: The Music, Volume 1” and “Glee: The Music, Volume 2” topping charts in Australia, the U.K., New Zealand, Ireland and Canada. In the U.S., over 4.5 million songs have been downloaded, and both albums have been certified Gold for sales in excess of 500,000 units.

GLEE follows an optimistic teacher who – against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach – inspires McKinley High’s Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time. GLEE stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.

On the season finale of The Bachelor, Jake introduces Tenley and Vienna to his family as he struggles to decide which woman to choose.

After a long very montage showing viewers how far we’ve come, Jake is still where we saw him at the end of the last new episode in St. Lucia: stuck between two women he’s fallen in love with. Before he makes his big choice, however, Jake must bring his family into the equation for their take on Tenley and Vienna.

Tenley is the first to meet the family and she’s got a big advantage since Jake says he brought up a lot of Vienna’s perceived faults with his family early on in their trip. As one might expect, Tenley is a perfect fit with Jake’s family right from the beginning, but for the girl that “dreams in cartoons,” what family wouldn’t love her? Right from the get-go, Tenley is very open and honest about her feelings for Jake and even makes his dad tear up a little bit. Tenley and Jake’s mom share a nice talk and Jake’s mom tells him she is not worried about Tenley at all. “You won a lot of points today,” Jake’s dad tells her at one point (as she makes him cry again). Good luck following that, Vienna.

As Jake prepares to introduce Vienna to his family, he calls a good connection between his other half and his family a “dealbreaker” so of course, at the beginning, everything seems to go wrong for Vienna. She’s hardly her natural outgoing self with his family and seems less than warm with them. Even worse, when she does start talking openly, it’s about how she didn’t get along with the other women in the house and red flags go up left and right for Jake’s family, especially his mom, who is very concerned about Jake finding a wife to get along with his brothers’ wives. However, Vienna slowly but surely warms over Jake’s mom and sister-in-law during their respective sit-downs with her. Jake’s family is honest that they like Tenley more, but also say they see how much Vienna cares about him. It will be interesting to see how much, if at all, this judgment will affect his decision.

The next day, Vienna and Jake go to an active volcano and rub mud all over each other. The way Vienna talks about rubbing mud all over Jake, I feel a sudden urge to cover my eyes and ears. Did the channel suddenly change from Disney-owned ABC to Cinemax after-hours? Is there some weird Undressed marathon taking over ABC? Later in the evening, Vienna discusses their emotional connection as well and romantically hands Jake a note rolled up by her promise ring from her father, saying that for now she’s giving this to Jake. It only took two months but Vienna is finally acting like a normal, semi-mature woman head over heels in love. It’s a little late but it’s finally clear how tough a decision Jake has ahead of him.

The real turning point of the episode, and the series, is Jake’s last date with Tenley. While Jake’s final date with Vienna crosses the line over and over, his last hours with Tenley are, well, much more tepid. The couple kiss, hug, snorkel, etc. but after they explore the ocean hand-in-hand, Jake begins to ponder his and Tenley’s lack of physical chemistry. The worst part is he wonders this out loud. Obviously, Tenley takes this badly not only because she now knows she may be behind Vienna but because she’s reminded of, you guessed it, when her ex-husband cheated on her. Jake says he disappointed in himself and I can’t blame him. He has plenty of time to think about these things in front of the camera later by himself, without making Tenley feel bad about herself the day before she may or may not be getting engaged. Come on, Jake, give me a break.

Over at Tenley’s room later in the evening, Tenley is stronger than most would be after being told the guy you love thinks he has no physical chemistry with you. They talk openly about the slow-burning physical spark and Jake seems happier now that they’ve talked this out. Obviously their talk goes well because as soon as the jeweler comes knocking the next day, Jake must pick one ring for each girl as he continues to decide (and as it sounds, continue to fight back tears).

After a dramatic break, Jake reveals he has come to a decision and has he gets dressed for the big occasion (this wouldn’t be the same season of The Bachelor without the wonderful, er, I mean gratuitous shots of Jake shirtless). He says he’s made up his mind but is not prepared to break someone else’s heart.

As soon as Jake starts tearing up and calls her perfect, Tenley starts to squint and the tears start flowing on both ends. Jake says he doesn’t know why but he feels like something missing. This is really hard to watch. Like, times the episode Ali left by 1,000 and that’s how hard this is to watch. Tenley really starts tearing up but says she’s thankful she was able to see she could fall in love again and happy to find it out with Jake. She even thanks him for being so honest with her about why she’s not the one. But Jake isn’t off the hook that easy. As he walks Tenley back to Chris Harrison, he tells her he’ll never forget her and she asks, twice, “Why are you saying goodbye?” Tenley walks into the St. Lucia sunset and looks back at Jack one final, tearful time.

As Tenley is driven away, Jake says he put her on too high a pedestal even for himself, and felt he had to be a certain way around her. So you can be too perfect, even on reality TV, eh? Luckily, Tenley is a smart and mature girl and she knows deep down she deserves somebody who loves all of her and even though she’s heartbroken, she’s not completely devastated. There are few girls who have been dumped on The Bachelor who have gone out as classy as Tenley, so cheers to her.

Love her or hate her, you see the pure love and raw emotion in Vienna as she approaches Jake. He does his best to act like he’s about turn her down, especially when he hands her back the promise ring she gave to him two nights before. However, his face starts to slowly light up and as soon as the words “I love you” leave his lips, Vienna is all over him and quickly accepts his marriage proposal.

It’s a little cheesy but only fitting that this season started out with a half-dozen corny plane-related joked and ends with “On the Wings of Love.”

On “After the Final Rose,” not only is Jake revealed to be one of the next contestants on Dancing with the Stars (I’m pretty excited to watch him practice shirtless on my HD TV) but he comes face-to-face with both Tenley and Vienna. Tenley and Jake’s time together on the couch together is brief and awkward as humanly possible. Tenley is sweet but also wants clarity on the missing piece of the puzzle, to which Jake can only answer a “magical spark” and says Tenley has a lifelong friend in him (we’ve heard that one before on this show).

Alone on the couch with The Bachelor himself, Jake addresses the controversy about Vienna’s personality and their relationship. Jake says “everybody’s just going to have to trust that I let my heart lead.” Once Vienna steps out, the couple can’t stop beaming and they seem more in love than ever. They brush off the intense media coverage of the season and their relationship and seem focused on moving forward with their relationship. Although no wedding date is set, Vienna is moving to Dallas to be with Jake right away and the two can’t keep their hands off each other during their interview. The best (or worst part depending on who you ask and how much corniness they can handle in one increments) is when they get the man behind “On the Wings of Love”, Jeffrey Osborne, to perform on the show. Jake and Vienna share a darkly lit first dance but I’m more focused on looking for Joel McHale. Sorry, but The Soup did play this song way more than The Bachelor did this season so now it’s habit.

After their slightly odd dancing interlude, Chris Harrison then introduces the next Bachelorette who is…drum roll…Ali! As many predicted (and I hoped for) Ali is next to look for love. Hopefully she just knows to tell her work exactly how long she’s going to be gone this time.

So what did you think of the finale? Did Jake make the right choice? Did you see all that coming with Tenley about a missing spark (they sure had me fooled)? Do you think Jake and Vienna will last?

This week’s Undercover Boss offered abundant evidence that big businesses inherited by family members can be a bad idea. Dave Rife, a great-grandson of the founder of the White Castle hamburger chain, began the hour in the standard Boss format — by telling his executives that he was going undercover. But instead of a board-room table ringed with attentive business-people, a gaggle of indifferently-attired relatives clomped in to what looked like a hotel ballroom to hear what their brother/nephew/uncle/whatever Dave planned to do. This, along with footage of Dave tooling around in a sporty red car saying he has “a lot of toys,” set the sour tone for this week.

Sure enough, Dave encountered poorly-managed stores staffed (in some cases over-staffed) by low-morale employees. The boss endured the usual Undercover embarrassments: he couldn’t keep up on the hamburger-bun assembly line or the cheese-straightening-on-the-cheeseburger assembly line. We were told Dave ruined 4,800 buns. Earlier, he had commented, “I have not had a great deal of time to spend in our bakeries.” Gee, no time, when we saw you riding in your sports car and dropping pounds with a trainer? You had the time, Dave; you just didn’t give a damn until the Boss camera crew came a-callin’.

This was the third Boss in a row to deal with a food-related business, so some repetition has set in. But the tweaks Dave Rife proposed before returning to the wealthy lifestyle he did nothing to earn beyond being born into it seemed measly even by Undercover Boss standards. An employee who’d survived a serious heart attack was told the company would start a “wellness program.” Thanks, Dave! Hard-working Jose, who dreams of going to culinary school and introduces Dave to some of his own recipe salsa that tastes great on White Castle burgers, gets a $5,000 scholarship. Thanks, Dave! Couldn’t the boss at least have promised to test-market Jose’s salsa in some of his stores?

And Joe, an incredibly dexterous, charming man who works a dizzyingly busy night-shift drive-up window, is told he’ll help start a “leaders of tomorrow” program (yawn) and, because he has a son who’s “visually impaired,” a $5,000 check. Why do I suspect five grand is what Dave spends detailing his sports car every few months?

I began the hour kinda wanting a White Castle slider or two. By the end, I wanted to fire Dave and his entire entitled family, and put Jose and Joe in charge of the whole company.

How about you?
