Free Night of Theater 2009 in October
The Free Night of Theater 2009 kicks off in Houston next week and in 120 other cities around the country. More than 75,000 free theater tickets will be given away in October. In Houston, more than 2,000 free seats will be given by 19 area theater organizations. Tickets will be available beginning October 5 at 10 a.m. for performances through October 18. Just glancing at the list of shows included for Houston are amazing, including TUTS’ Meet Me in St. Louis, Houston Ballet’s Without Boundaries, Texas Repertory Theater’s Little Shop of Horrors, and Main Street Theater’s Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type. It might only be one or two performances for free, so tickets may get snatched up quickly! Most allow two tickets per reservation.
