Vanessa Smith Benefit Show
The Bay Area music and arts scene came together and pulled off a sincere, heartfelt benefit for Vanessa Smith. Vanessa is a talented musician, artist, the mother of a five year old son, and generally just making the world a better place for being in it. She was recently diagnosed with colon cancer while visiting family in Texas. She is currently at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. We have all been touched by these unfortunate slaps to the face either personally or to friends and family. Donations can be made directly through paypal and all support helps.
With the help of many friends and talented people a successful benefit was thrown Friday February 5th at The Metro in Oakland. With music from The Turks, Beats Antique, Sugar Butt Tiger and Extra Action Marching Band. And a performance by The Cowboy Girls.
