'J.O.N.A.S!' 1.09: Nick's Bad Day

One bad thing leads to another, Kevin and Joe help Nick to trace back what causes his brain to get stuck.

Nick is having a very bad day. In the next episode of “J.O.N.A.S!“, the youngest of the Lucas brothers got a pink paint all over his head, an opened milk carton falling onto his lap and his guitar smashed by an elevator. As part of the really bad day, he also experiences a writer’s block.

When he falls asleep, he dreams of writing a great song but can’t remember it once he wakes up, so Joe and Kevin try to re-create Nick’s bad day to help him remember. Titled “Complete Repeat“, the new episode will air on July 5.

On another news, the Jonas Brothers are conducting a contest in support of their new album “Lines, Vines and Trying Times“. The band are inviting fans to cover their song “Fly with Me” using any kind of music instruments or doing it a cappella way. 'J.O.N.A.S!' 1.08 Preview: Joe Rejected by His Crush

In the episode ‘That Ding You Do‘, Joe goes classic after finding out that the girl he likes doesn’t date rock stars.

Joe finds that it is tough being a Lucas brother when he develops a crush on an orchestra player who dislikes celebrities. In the eleventh episode of “J.O.N.A.S!” which is airing June 28, Joe eventually joins the school’s orchestra to impress his crush.

Being the good brothers that they are, Kevin and Nick have to help Joe developing a classical piece to prove he is a serious musician. Meanwhile, Stella bets Macy that she can avoid texting longer than Macy can go without talking about JONAS. Read more…

2009 Teen Choice Awards Nominees List in TV

The frontrunner nominee for TV category at the 11th Annual Teen Choice Awards is The CW’s ‘Gossip Girl‘, followed by FOX’s ‘American Idol‘.

Gossip Girl” has a big chance to walk out with multiple prizes at this year’s Teen Choice Awards after getting 10 nominations, both for the series and the cast. Almost all the main actors such as Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively grab one each. The CW series is one of the top scorers of the whole nominations list after “Twilight” which dominates with 12 nods.

Right behind “Gossip Girl” in terms of number is “American Idol“. Scoring 7 nominations in total, the reality singing competition earns among others through its judge Simon Cowell, host Ryan Seacrest, and two recent contestants, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. It additionally takes the nomination for Choice Tour.

Also pocketing noms are Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato who score through their Disney shows, “Hannah Montana” and “Sonny with a Chance” respectively. Miley in particular has 10 nods when accumulated with the feature movie version of “Hannah”. She tweeted, “i still cant believe im up for all the teen choice awards! please please please vote! :) ” Demi, whose show is relatively new, wrote on Twitter “I’ve been nominated for 3 Teen Choice awards!!!!! I’ve never been nominated for anything like this… I’m so happy!!! Yayyy!!!”

Two surprises in the list are “Glee” which only aired its pilot in May and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” which has been canceled by FOX. Nevertheless the nominations are not excluding adult-oriented shows as well, such as “Desperate Housewives“, “Entourage” and “South Park“.

2009 Teen Choice Awards, which is in its 11th year, will be hosted by Jonas Brothers. Teens can start voting for their favorites at the official site where nominees for other categories like movie, music and pop culture can be found.
