Eric visits Lafayette for a favor, Sookie promises to have a proper birthday for Tara after she gets back from Dallas and the new waitress knows a lot more about Sam.

Lafayette has an unpleasant surprise from Eric but having barely escaped Fangtasia, he finds himself reluctantly pulled back into Eric’s orbit. “True Blood” will be back on July 12, with the fourth episode of season 2, titled “Shake and Fingerpop“. The new waitress at Merlotte’s which is played by Ashley Jones, will reveal what she knows about Sam.

“Eric makes people beholden to him,” Nelsan Ellis who plays Lafayette previously explained his character’s complicated relationship with Eric. “He did it to Sookie, and now he does force Lafayette to work for him to repay him for something he’s done for him.” Ellis added that Lafayette “stays with the vampires basically throughout the season.”

Also on “Shake”, Bill, Sookie and Jessica head to Dallas to carry out Eric’s vampire-reconnaissance mission, but a surprise awaits them at the airport. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason falls victim to a practical joke, but has the last laugh when the Newlins anoint him for a higher calling.

The special clip is taken from the DVD package which is arriving August in time of the third season premiere.

“Gossip Girl” season 2 DVD is heading to the stores on August 18 and a clip featured within the package is released. Titled “Cold Feet“, it sees Blair’s mom worrying about the outfit when she is questioning about her love for Cyrus Rose. Blair and Serena comfort her in order to get her downstairs.

The clip is part of the “unaired scenes” which is one of the DVD’s special features. Apart from having never-before-seen clips, the DVD will include also Chasing Dorota Webisodes, Gag Reel, downloadable audiobook of novel “Gossip Girl: You Know You Love Me” which is read by Christina Ricci, “5th Ave. Meets Gossip Girl” where fans can have a tour to Gossip Girl crowd’s favorite haunts, and a footage showing creative forces behind the show’s art and fashion.
